IMPOSSIBILITY STRIKES BACK!

by Nov 8, 2020

Our old nemesis, Impossibility, strikes again. Facebook has blocked Gen3M from globally publishing social media ads supporting a statement of rights by children, which is basically modeled on the UN Charter of Rights for Children. “The Children’s Manifesto.”

Gen3M responded with a suspension of all ads on Facebook.

Facebook have blocked Gen3M from globally publishing social media ads supporting a statement of rights by children, which is basically modeled on the UN Charter of Rights for Children. “The Children’s Manifesto.” Gen3M responded with a suspension of all ads from Facebook. This is the second time recently that companies have taken action, suspended advertising, against Facebook over issues on social media, over what are considered violations of human rights.

Facebook advised that they are blocking all commentary on social issues from sources outside of a country, unless issued by one of the country’s own citizens. While that is understandable in USA, albeit not acceptable, due to the subversion of social media by foreign powers during a critical presidential election, that time is now past. The restriction of free speech on global issues within any country is abhorrent and to be condemned.

A group of major organizations recently suspended advertising with Facebook in July over social media issues.  “There is no place for racism in the world and there is no place for racism on social media,” Coca-Cola CEO and Chairman, James Quincey, said in a statement.

“There is no place for denial of free speech in the world, but it happens, and there is no place for denial of free speech on social media, as long as it is respectful,” GEN3M CEO and Chairman, Kym Derriman, said in a statement.

This youngest generation, Gen3M battled the global giant 3M Corp (USA) just for the naming rights that kids had chosen for their own generation, Gen3M – and won!

This time Gen3M takes on another giant, Facebook for free speech. Like a newborn child, Gen3M have battled their way into existence and now, 19 years later, are still fighting giants to survive. It’s only days away and counting down, for Nov. 20th, 2020, Universal Children’s Day.

Go Gen3M !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
